Who Pays is a simple arcade-style game for people who fighting over a bill. It turns fighting over a bill into a competition of speed where people must press buttons as fast as they can to win their chance to pay.
Two competitors first put their cards or phones (with QR code ready to be scanned) in Who Pays. When it says “Ready, go!”, two competitors start pressing buttons while a progress bar showing their ‘battle progress’. The winner will win the chance to pay – the chance to show his/her generosity and to save his/her face.
A little game can sometimes help us resolve real-life conflicts, even a tiny one like fighting over a bill. It is a social norm in eastern cultures where paying for others is sometimes related to one’s face (脸面), or in another word, social image.
Of course, you can have another ‘fight’ to decide whether you are going to use Who Pays to decide who pays :)
